Fashion Redefined

My work explores the connection between storytelling, craftsmanship, and fashion. With a focus on garment construction, I approach each project through research, experimentation, and hands-on making. I am especially interested in how clothing shapes the body through fabric movement, and personal identity.

This portfolio reflects my growth as a designer and my commitment to refining both my creative process and technical skills.

My Design Projects

Pattern 3 Final

For my final project within my pattern 3 class, we were asked to create something using one or more of the techniques we learned throughout the 15-week course. I chose to use transformation reconstruction to build the top and subtraction cutting to create the skirt.

Botanical Gardens x CCC

This is a 5-week project I worked on with the wonder Justin Leblanc as a teacher and in collaboration with the Chicago Botanical Gardens. We were tasked with creating garments made from recycled materials. I utilized T-shirts, banners and plant name tags I molded into flowers.

The Grand Facade

My senior collection is a showcase of the skills that I have learned throughout my time at Columbia College Chicago. It will feature hand smocking techniques, corsetry and drapery.

Loulette Bride

For my senior thesis class, we have been working in collaboration with the bridal brand "Loulette Bride" who are based in New York city. I have created the corset for the dress as well as the majority of the digital work involved in our class work.
